Name your choice for the up and coming Cuemaker.

Mike Durbin and Joe Callaluca are making incredible playing cues. A couple others that don't hang here anymore do some incredible inlay.

Prulhiere cue pics - the truth is out!

I just bought an exotic hardwood custom cue from Scott Gracio for $200...that's a real exception in the custom cue market, but it can be done if you're lucky. Scott has built cues that sold for multithousands, but this is one he said usually would sell for around $500. I haven't received it...

    Any thriving hobbies out there?

Fishing is always great, and sometimes the catching is fun too. As you can see, Mike Morra doesn't spend a lot of time updating his website...just a few folks keep it going.

    Any thriving hobbies out there?

Looks like a great place! Here's the San Juan. The website is Mike Morra's, who is a great guy and someone I have fished with on many occasions. http://www.ifly4trout.com/ I'll let you know if I'm ever in your neighborhood, Terry, and we'll tell some fish stories around the cooler for sure!

    Any thriving hobbies out there?

Yes, you do indeed Terry. Get out there and enjoy!! Sounds like a good idea for a boat, they're bunches of money now. Back in the day, I outfitted a new '92 Toyota 4x4 truck with a small shell and carpet kit, tent on wheels, no packing it up. Also had a '84 Folbot Big Glider for high...

    Any thriving hobbies out there?

I used to be an avid flyfisherman (obsessive and compulsive)... I built rods, tied flys, etc. When I got married in 1981, my wife agreed I could flyfish one weekend/month, and I did at least that until I got back into pool in '03 after a 17 year layoff. Around 1992-93 I stopped going anywhere...

    "Did you know?"

Many patrons (the poorer ones) of the betting parlor would "pool" their money together to make a bet and split the winnings and play billiards to pass the time waiting for results to come in, and this type of parlor became called a "poolroom". The game they played became known as "pool". :D

    Octagonal Chalk...Why?

Why not? It's different and noticeably Predator. Throughout chalk history, most shapes have been tried before.

Should I get this Pool Hall?

I wouldn't without alcohol. And parking is an issue, but I don't really know anything about it.

Who is the #1 most in demand cue maker in the world today?

I wish I'd kept my old Black Boar RS3 with ferruless shafts. Loved that cue, razor sharp little diamonds and was a monster player...

    Cue feedback is what?

Agreed. All the sensory information a cue can provide is how it "feels". Different shots, different feel.

Very interesting things to know how one German cuemaker handls with other peoples cue

OK, so this thread was about blackmailing a cuemaker into paying you $500 to keep quiet about a mistake he made. You're both idiots.
