Please post pics of your Valley Forge additions:

I picked up an Ebony pointed Omega/dpk at Valley Forge. Did a trade for it with the Cueaddicts guys who are always a pleasure to deal with (Thanks Sean and Jeff!) Pics are in this thread about Omegas that I posted up. http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=28526

Please Post Pics of Your Omega/dpk Cues!

I'm a huge fan of Omega/dpk cues. I love the simple 5 point construction, the variety of ringwork (boxed, ivory trim, piano key, silver trim), and the different selections of woods that they used. Omega/dpk's hit great and play phenomenal in my personal opinion. Most of all, I love the history...

Wei plays out of Corner Billiards NYC. Excellent 1 pocket player as well as 9 ball. Really nice guy and loves to talk about the aspects of the game. I heard that he's going to be at Valley Forge this weekend. Not sure if he will have a table or not.

The gems that I had at one time or another Comic Original Art: Painted Cover to Miracleman #1. Bought it for $3k. I sold this to a collector in Ireland for a little over $10k. It was mixed media of watercolors, acrylic, india ink. One of the most beautiful comic book covers ever. Watch...

    Collectors

My cousins owned and ran a toy/model/comic shop in NYC's Chinatown. I started working there when I was in junior high school. My collecting began with comic books. When I was in college, it progressed to original comic art (these were the actual drawn originals used to produce a comic book)...

Can anyone explain this Tascarella cue auction?

The Blue Book is just a reference. It's not the know all, be all, define all publication on cue collecting and cue values.

    Another steed in the stable...

Sean is right, mostly because of the uneven point work. These cues are made at a time when Bender was still experimenting under DPK's tutilage. Also, sometimes they (Bender and DPK) didn't care for some of the wood combinations of the points, forearms, and butt sleeves. I believe it was DPK who...

    Another steed in the stable...

An Omega/dpk "Ugly Stick". Birdseye maple points into what appears to be goncale avles or paduk forearm. Could be pau ferro as well. 3 veneers and a maple butt sleeve. Maple block rings at a,b,c,d, and e. This one is a little rough around the edges, but shoots really nice. Big thanks to Mike M...

    Bcm ?

Bryan is a great person to speak with about cues. On top of making nice looking and hitting cues on his own, Bryan does a superb job of refinishing old cues.

I was reading this thread at work and when I saw Koop's response and pic, I laughed out loud! Everyone popped their head up from their cubicles to see what was so funny. Definitely the funniest comment I've read on here!
