    I just recovered with 860 (P.S. NEVER try it yourself.....it SUCKS!!!! get a pro!) I read it is supposed to play faster that 760 but I sure think that the opposite is true. I was beginning to thing my playing balls were the problem. It does play ok though and cleans up nicely with a vacuum cleaner.

    Hey Bobb, you might want to check out Metro Sportz just off I-17 down from Castles & Coasters (Dunlap also). They have 9 1 year old Gold Crown IV's and free pool til 7 M-F. P.S. Jimmy was right about Alexander's. Go on any Friday and if you're looking, you WILL find action.

    Recommendations for bulbs in light

    If you are going to use incandecent, make sure the center bulb (assuming there are 3) is a lower wattage than the outside ones. Otherwise you will have a "hot spot" in the center of the table.

    Rumour has it Kolby's is closed although I haven't checked it out for myself....I play at Clicks in Pheonix on Thomas. Also Main Street in Mesa has tourneys damn near every night. Good Luck!

    About 12 years ago, when I was dating my wife, we found a room in downtown San Francisco. From what I remember it was upstairs and was what you would call a "Old School' type of environment. I also seem to remember it had a neon "Billiards" sign along the top of the building...any clues...

    Quick question... I purchased a used J/B cue and it has a REALLY hard tip on it. Is this standard or is it OK to put a medium-hard tip on it? Thanks, Dave:confused:
