Sold Rempe v Archer S.R.O. XIV

Parting with another gem from my collection. Buddy called it the best 9-ball match he’s ever seen. In my book it shares the first place with Reyes vs. Rempe from 1996 PBT 9-ball. It’s a double hill match with both Johnny and Jim shooting c.950 TPA. Selling it as a VHS tape together with a DVD...

Sold Ronnie Allen v Danny Diliberto one pocket match

This is one of the best one pocket challenge matches you will ever wish to see! It took place at the Golden Eight Ball in Phoenix in 1988 and was three out of five sets, each set a race to five. Nearly ten hours of one pocket awesomeness, with great moving and shot making by both Danny and...

    On The Road Again ...

The Sting with Paul Newman and Robert Redford is also quite good. What was that movie called with Anthony Quinn and Adriano Celentano as two con artists? A very enjoyable one, too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got $1,500 so tell me........

I forgot to mention Paul Drexler (PFD cues). A very fine cue maker who turns great hitting cues. PFDs are radial pin so getting a matching CF shaft is easy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If the CB is close to the OB, I’d try to corner hook him. No big deal if I scratch as two balls are coming on the spot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got $1,500 so tell me........

I’ve had quite a few cues over the years. For me, Lambros and Tascarella beat all the others out there in terms of the hit. For production cues, you will not find anything better than Schon or Mezz. Just my 2 cents You will need to stretch your budget a little bit if you want a Tasc Sent from...

    Spot Shot English

I was working off the premise that the guy has a shot at his pocket. The only viable scenario (other than "scratches don't count" which I haven't seen in ages) is that the ball got pocketed into a neutral pocket by his opponent on the previous shot, that's all. I agree you can leave him uptable...

A book selling site with pool books I've never seen before

If it's the Billy Johnson I'm thinking of it couldn't be 100 years in the past. At least the author knows Wade Crane's moniker :)

That’s what I had said in my post he meant to quote. Anyway, if your opponent has a relatively low risk shot directly at his hole after you pocketed the last ball in a non-scoring pocket it’s a silly thing to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Strange indeed. We never called it english over here to start with!

I’d respectfully disagree. The best place to leave the CB after shooting the spot shot in one pocket is near the top pocket on your side. The only shot you’d leave is a three railer if your opponent is mad at their money Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

While leaving the CB uptable and giving your opponent an out? Well then we’ll have to agree to disagree Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s pretty much an impossible scenario. You can’t have a BIH and only one ball left on the table both at the same time. If you mean that your opponent pocketed the last ball into a neutral pocket and left the CB in the kitchen, I’d normally use top spin only (maybe with a touch of outside)...

    Sold Rare one pocket videos

I'm selling two very rare one pocket matches. The tapes come with the backup DVDs for personal use (the conversion has been done by a specialist shop here in London as Accu-Stats have never converted those to DVD as far as I'm aware). If you are a one pocket aficionado, both these matches are...

Here's a little bit more info on Crazy Frank - https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/crazy-frank-piasecki-1949-2014.364086/ I know he lost 5-3 to Bugs in the second round of the 1991 Legends of One Pocket which was organised and promoted by Grady and Jimmy Fusco
