I like the McDermott Intimidator shafts, particularly the i2. I've had one for ~20 years and it still plays great.

I'll have one on a Revo in about a week. It had a Victory medium on it and will have a soft when it gets back from Predator. I have no complaints with the medium, just liked the Hybrid Max and Fusion better on a Revo so far.

I agree with garczar, but if you like the cue and if moving the weight bolt back changed the balance point to your liking, you can use something like purple Loctite to keep it from rattling. You could also try an extension to see if that helps. I'd definitely get it from Seybert's or PoolDawg...

Since you like the one you have, perhaps you could order the shafts from Superior without being cut for the pin and have a local cue maker tap it for you to your specs. Otherwise: Jim Pierce builds a good KW shaft, and the Diveney Trans K is good as well. Perhaps one of them can build one out...
