Two different customers, two different preferences, two different new cues.

3C = Three-cushion billiards, but I think the influence derives from Russian Pyramid billiards :) The upper of the two shafts I posted is a Carom shaft though! And it performes very, very nicely too! Even I hit a 3C with it sometimes :D The lower shaft is my main player for pool. It's very...

Can you guys identify this tip?

I'd say it's a Triangle or possibly a LePro. It could also be some other kind of unexpensive tip, but I'd also go as far as to say it's definitely no Elkmaster or Blue Diamond, because they look differently (different color). Actually I'm pretty convinced that it's a Triangle.

Hand-Crafted Jewelry Recycled From Old Pool Balls

Looks about as simple as making your own cue shaft. Just take a piece of wood and turn it down. Maybe put on a tip. Piece of cake

    Why Does Everyone Hate Cuetec!

I think cuetec cues play quite nicely. They have a little bit too much deflection for my taste, but they produce a lot of spin easily. They sound a little strange tho...

    Dan DeCola - MasterClass Cues

That's exactly what I thought. They look to be very nicely made but some of the design-patterns are simply knock-offs.

anyone ever used Wenge used in cues?

Wow, Dmitry, what a nice splice! And I thought my cue was fancy! But still I wouldn't want to trade it, I already love it too much! The spliced shafts really play top-notch. I took out the weight-bolts of the cue and with the FAT (over 5oz.) shaft you made for me it weights 20oz...

    Pool in the Boulder/Denver area?

Since I'll be spending my vacation in Boulder, 'Colorady' from 7. to 14. Feb., I's gonna ask you guys, if you know some good pool places there! I'd be especially keen to play in a local tournament to shoot pool and have some fun with some genuine american pool nuts :D ! It'd be great if you...

    Rubber grips

I find this method to be quite pedestrian. Just slide it down and when it stops start rolling it downward to the desired location. No need to take it off and turn it around.

    Break rule.. thought

Sorry, I can't help but to find this discussion utterly ridiculous. A great break shot does not require skill? Come on!

    Break Tips

It's all about really roughing it up. Sandpaper doesn't help, the tip is too hard. I use a steel needle and make a grid of deep scratches. Gives the glue something to hold on. Then I use normal super glue. I installed 4 so far and never had any problems.
