    Minnesota Fats- Rambow cue

Cool. It just seems all those Balabushka cues and Rambow cues with wraps all had white /green. I really like White / Black spec as is on the Joss color of Money cue but none of the older cues had wraps in that color. Just white and green, what you said makes sense

    Minnesota Fats- Rambow cue

Could be. I would like to see some pics of it. Like I asked in the 1st question , was white with green specs the wrap of choice back then. It seems all the old cues had the same wrap white with green specs.

Thanks Garczar , it just seems in all the matches I could find on YouTube that Fats was playing with the same cue. It may have very well been this cue you linked. Thanks

    Minnesota Fats- Rambow cue

I have been watching The great pool shoot out match Between Willie Mosconi and Minnesota Fats that was televised by ABC wide world of sports. We can see Willie’s famous Balabushka cue but out of curiosity is Fats shooting with his Rambow which I assume he is as it seems that is the only Cue Fats...

    Rodney Morris Hall of fame??

One could argue the Same for Fats. Rudolph Wonderone Jr , is in the Hall of Fame just for being a Colorful figure. Not by his playing. Fats never Won any major tournaments or was on any special league. He was a hard core bank player but does that warrant enough to be in the Hall. Willie Mosconi...

    Billy Thorpe gone wild!

I always thought that the one ball had to be in front. 8 and 9 ball. It has always been in the front on every rack I have ever seen. I thought that was the rule.

Could y'all explain this to me?

For Sure. Those are Usually the wannabe players. The Quite one in the back running balls rack after rack. That is the true pro.

    Bar Box monsters

Nice. I watched CJ talk about him and how awesome he played. If I ever make it to that neck of the woods I will have to go there and see him in action.

I would have liked to have seen David Matlock play. Cj Wiley has a story or 2 on him being a beast on the table.

Sanitizing your Cue - Is Alcohol enough no immune system

Thank you , Yes hearing you have Cancer at 42 is not what you want to hear. If I was 70 or so it would not bother Me as Bad as I would have lived most of my Life. But at 42 you hope to have a few good years left before you get sick. They removed a foot of my Colon and I finished the Chemo...

Sanitizing your Cue - Is Alcohol enough no immune system

Gotcha. Your are probably right. Just with Touching chalk , Racks , pool balls etc I thought how easy it would be to to transfer it to your Cue as you are always picking your Cue back up for the next match. Thinking to much about it.

Sanitizing your Cue - Is Alcohol enough no immune system

I got everybody. Silly question I know. What I meant to say was that I play out every once and a while. I usually clean my cue when I get back and I usually just wipe it down with a cloth like paper towel with Alcohol and the thought I had read that Alcohol over 70 percent kills viruses. So that...
