    Mineral Spots on Shaft

I wouldn't "drill-and-fill" as it may compromise the structural integrity of the shaft or alter the way it plays, depending on the size of the spot you drill out. There are some "bleaching" products out there that guys use, but they are as much a white stain that cosmetically covers the spot as...

    1-Pocket Break Question

I read a thread sometime in the past few weeks where someone discusses the break and a practice drill using only (3) balls. I can't recall if it was here on AZ or on OnePocket.ORG. I'll see if I can find it and provide a link, or someone else may be able to help locate it.

is the "no lookie" on the 8 uncalled for

Isn't that the truth! Like anyone is going to live or die, or make their next house payment based on what happens in local bar league play. Don't get me wrong, I take my local leagues seriously, but not to that extent. Last week, the team that we were playing had an extra player in...

corey deuel cue at valley forge

Yes, Jacoby does make the Woodpecker cue line for Corey. He has used the model on the website with the purpleheart handle for a few years, but I don't know if he's changed recently.

Where can I fins rules for games to print out

Viewable, printable, and "saveable" BCA rulebook: http://www.playbca.com/Downloads/Rulebook/CompleteRulebook/tabid/372/Default.aspx ...covers 8-ball, 9-ball, one-pocket, 14.1, etc. For other "regional" games, your best bet is to Google search or search the forums here on AZ.

    Predator repair?

As far as replacing the logo after the proper repair is complete, your repairman can always make one and apply it during the finishing stages. Remember the old deals you got in model kits as a kit that you soaked in water to apply? That type of transfer material is available for inkjet and...

    Spray gun Vs Airbrush

I've never tried an airbrush, but I would guess it would be hard to get even coverage with the light, small spray pattern one provides. I use what they call a "jam gun" or "touch-up gun", which is a mini- version of a full-sized spray gun. It provides a smaller spray pattern than a full-sized...

    Video of the impossible shot

I remember the shot you are talking about, but I can't find it after doing a quick search. I refer to this shot as "The Efren Cut Shot" as I believe he's been known to make it.

Are you a DONKER or a CLICKER....

I'd need another option...."pink"....and not the color. Not to be confused with "ping", which has a "ring" to it, but "pink" as in a nice tight, short, solid sound.

    Tips

What I do with LePro's is visually check them to make sure they don't have any big wrinkles on the sidewalls or back, give them a quick press in a vice, then pray. (LOL)

Techniques for helping a player stay down on the shot

Bill, I've heard #4 before and that would definitely teach you to stay down in a hurry! Another suggestion would be to follow-through the shot with your cue to a point 6" past the cue ball and watch the follow-through. Usually, you'll unknowingly stay down while concentrating on watching your...

nice deep pockets.. who loves em?

My Olhausen Champion Pro has pretty tight, and very deep-shelved pockets that teach you to hit the center of the pocket and also develop a nice touch of "pocket speed". Sure, they're frustrating from time to time, but in the long run, I feel they make you a better player.

    Pool Wars by Jay Helfert

Jay, I ordered a copy back on 2/21, so I have an "early number" copy coming. I just ordered another copy and would like to reserve #500. I put this notation in the PayPal payment. The other book you mention about instructional and mental aspects of the game sounds very interesting. Please...
