The joint pin my break cue uses is pictured on the right, hope this helps.

My break cue uses a 3/8x10 joint pin but I have noticed it's flat & because I want to get a spare shaft for it I was wondering which brands will fit it because it's not a standard joint pin.

But it seems to be the Americans that ***** & moan about it the most because in their tournaments they don't use the rule & therefore complain when their break isn't working or they aren't getting the roles when playing international events.
