Perfect Aim Video and Lesson Phoenix

Gene, I posted a serious question in Post #573, and that post was quoted by HU in Post #592, yet my question remains unanswered. Please answer the question. Thanks

Perfect Aim Video and Lesson Phoenix

I have spent considerable time over the past half year experimenting with eye position relative to cue line, because I tend to overcut when cutting left, and undercut when cutting right. I worked on alignment extensively first. I now know that I shoot most accurately when my cue is centered...

Has anyone made cue with odd balance point?

I am curious why most people apparently prefer forward balanced cues, 19.5 inches for example. Does it promote accuracy, or is it just a feel thing? TIA

    One Practice Stroke Before Shooting

Randy, or should I refer to you as "Dear Mr. randyG", in equal respect of the way you addressed me? I thought Gerald was you, after he stated his belief that no instructor would ever give out the mother drills - ever! Wow, that sure made them sound important - but then you stated that both you...

    One Practice Stroke Before Shooting

Thanks Steve, I happily accept your offer to provide the seven "mother drills" on paper. I am confident that other purchasers of the SPF dvd would also appreciate that information. Do you really believe that the "mother drills" are too complicated to benefit your AZB counterparts absent your...

    One Practice Stroke Before Shooting

Steve, I keep seeing you harp about your SPF mother drills. As a result I, like many other AZBr's, finally took the bait and ordered your SPF dvd set. Unfortunately, a large part of your dvd content was devoted to the rules of eightball and nineball, and there was no discussion whatsoever of...

sold a blue grass here (what would you do?)

Mahna, are you saying that the following quote actually means Benfica does not want to gamble? No wonder I misunderstood his actions in this thread. Benfica quote: "If you have something to tell me and you are in Northern California why don't we meet and we'll make a race on 9 ball for a bit...

sold a blue grass here (what would you do?)

BackCut, how can you be calling Mahna a friggin idiot, and then claim you don't know or care who is right? Does that mean that Mahna is a friggin idiot even if he is correct in attributing blame to Benfica?

sold a blue grass here (what would you do?)

Wow! Looks like Benfica may have stepped in it again! Or, have I again misinterpreted his actions, and he really didn't call out Mahna?

sold a blue grass here (what would you do?)

After all the gumflapping, and the weak and seemingly misleading explanations about the necessity of sending the whole cue in to have a couple scratches removed from the joint protectors, I still agree with Hal. Somebody tried to pull a fast one, and got caught, and now deserves nothing. JMHO

sold a blue grass here (what would you do?)

I agree with this. IMO he doesn't deserve 5 cents now. In fact, in view of his deceit, why should you even believe his story about shipping damage?

Your BCA National Team better watch out for us this year

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a stacked team? Also, how could a team win 85% of their games and lose 13-7? I assume this has to do with a handicapping system that can be phonied up by sand bagging during league play?

    warped cue?

Mike, I agree it was not mentioned that Dirks knew there was an issue with the cue befiore he traded for it. I attributed normal caution on his part, and assumed he inspected the cue before trading it (briefly, at least). It only takes a few seconds to diagnose a warp. If he was duped by the...

    warped cue?

Cubswin, I respect your opinion, but look at post #3, where, after expressing the views of the cuemaker, Dirks says he thinks he owns a crap cue. More badgering, IMO. I've recently seen two people purposely purchase damaged cues because they figured they could them fixed for free, like this...

    warped cue?

Dude, No, I don't even know Dirks. But, I do know what I'd think if I were a cuemaker and received an an Email titled "Custom Cue?" How would you interpret that question mark, Dude?

    warped cue?

When you took the cue in trade you probably gave the trader appropriate value for a warped cue - since you sound like you are a business man. Now that you've acquired a warped cue for probably next to no cost, you may be trying to subtly badger the cuemaker into renewing it for you for free -...
