Congratulations. You guys successfully conspired to take some bucks right out of Joe's pocket. You made a deal that benefitted you but you forgot about Joe! How about sending him a jelly roll? How come he doesn't get a piece of this pie? It's like stealing his life's experiences. Yeah.. I know it's no different than buying/selling a cue but it just strikes me as being different when it's a guy putting his experience out there. He ought to be paid for it. Something ain't right about it. It's just me. Forgetaboutit.

What I've said does reflect my values as regards the personal work of authors like Lil Joe and others that have made teaching videos. I have steadfastly taken the position that buying and selling teaching videos is taking money out of the pockets of the authors and that we owe more to our pros than we are giving. I believe that and consequently I won't buy or sell the used intellectual property of pool pros. I believe I owe them some loyalty. You evidently do not.
I obviously am aware that several posters don't agree with me. I don't care. I believe it. You can call me names but I believe you are depriving Lil Joe and others of what they have earned and/or could earn. You people are so dammed cheap you buy a pros life and trade it around and deprive him of the opportunity to sell more. That's what you are doing.
I'm not going to argue it. I believe it and that's it.

Is there a law against selling previous owned stuff? Cars, books, houses, cues, clothes, shoes, boats, motorcycles, furniture, baseball cards, stamps, jewelry etc.
Maybe everything should self destruct so it can't be resold.
I don't resell my vidoes because I constantly look at them and keep learning stuff that I had missed from watching them before. Call me a slow learner, and I admit that I am not the smartest person. If someone can watch a video one time and learn everthing in it more power to them. I think in the long run they don't get the full value by looking at it once and then selling it unless the video is not that good to begin with.
My take on Joe's video is everytime I watch it I learn something new. I would never consider selling it. Will be the first to order his next one. If someone is willing to resell it then I think they are short changing themselves.
Now if they made a copy to keep and then sold the original I would be against it and agree that they are cheating Joe.
But as I said if someone resells Joe's Videos they are really cheating themselves and not Joe because they will never realize the full value.

I still don't get it. I've got nothing against you, I don't even know you. However, with over 2,000 posts on this site I have had negative rep only once and it was from you when I inquired about the purchase price of a Wheat cue through a third party who encouraged me to buy it and you evidently don't like the guy who made the cue.
In this particular case it seems to me that it is an original copy and the more people who are exposed to his videos, the more he is likely to sell.
You seem like a decent guy but I don't get the obsession with what other people are buying and selling legally on this site.
