I guess Earl got his wish!

Listen you can all sit & ***** & moan about the 3 balls past the headstring rule until the cows come home but, logic dictates that the players brought the rule change on themselves (Deuel specifically) so as far as I can see the players have no right to moan when rolls don't go their way because...

OB Cues where do you rate them?

Jgar the reason I'm changing the entire cue rather than just the shaft is because the cue itself is as I have found over time too light for me at 18 oz, I have since found from using my break cue I much prefer a 20 oz cue. Also I really just want rid of the scorpion.

OB Cues where do you rate them?

I am getting rid of my "piece of fire wood" scorpion cue & was thinking of upgrading to an OB cue & I would like people's opinions on what they think of them as playing cues. Also, is going from a Scorpion to an OB cue any type of a step up or are they considered "entry level" cues as is the...

    Which Woods Are Ok?

I have been reading about ivory being banned (& rightfully so) also Brazilian rosewood & it got me thinking, I am in the process of saving to get a cue made by Jim Pierce & we have spoke about having it made with cocobolo but now with these bans coming up regarding commercial sale of exotic wood...

???? What Happened To Carolina Custom Cues ????

Zrx replica I second that, I have a plain jane birdseye maple break/jump cue made by Trevor & to me it is my pride & joy. It's a shame to see any cue maker especially one with his caliber of work get out of the industry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Phenolic Ferule

I live in Edinburgh in the UK & the cue repairers here all deal exclusively with snooker cues, so if I could I would much rather learn to do the job myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm sorry but that looked to me like a horrible install job. Use a lathe &/or get a pro to do it every time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Looking For a Cue Picture

If I remember the forearm was either ebony or cocobolo, as the cue was completely dark wood wise. Sorry I can't give a better description, I'd probably be able to find it if the forum archive went further back than the middle of May. I believe I saw the cue on here sometime in March this...

Thanks for the help plshrk22 & RascalDoc but the cue I'm trying hard to describe had four rectangular white points (I think they're called) with a Japanese word in each & I do know it was not done using scrimshaw, that much I remember. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Looking For a Cue Picture

About two(ish) months ago or so someone posted pictures of a cue that had Japanese writing inscribed in the butt section with each of the rectangular white inlays housing a word in Japanese, before you ask I have searched the entire site with no luck. The reason I ask is I just found it to be a...
