Kamui Roku vs Taom Pyro vs Great White...

Life user and swearer of Master until literally yesterday when my cubes of Taom Pyro and Kamui Roku showed up, Sold on the cleanliness and performance of both. Master is great performing for the price, but makes a mess of everything.

How do you heat your pool room ?

I’ve got a well insulated 18’ x 20’ space with 8’ foot ceiling. Currently using a 4/9/18k BTU propane heater connected to a 20lb tank that does pretty well. Creates some moisture but I also use a dehumidifier. The space stays relatively comfortable around 60-70F which is fine for me...

New Aramith Black ball set . Thoughts?

At first I thought they were a grotesque abomination to the history of pool. Then I opened my mind and took another look. And another. Soon afterwards they started to gain a certain appeal. Purple 5 and all. Then (gasp) I ordered a set to share the table with my favorite Centennials...

    Equal Offense II

My strategy right now is finding and executing patterns 5+ balls long. Most of time I'm not consistent. I can run 12 balls sometimes but other times I only get two, usually because of a poor shot or mostly because of being out of position. My runs are usually around 4 balls. I haven't...

    Equal Offense II

Today I made my goal of hitting a 120 ball average in my last 10 sessions at the 3 miss level. Starting next session I will begin to keep track of both my progress at the 2 and 3 miss level until my overall average at the 3 miss level hits 120 (currently 114.3) Making progress and improving!

    Cyclop balls cracking

I’m late to knowing the whole Cyclop line of products, but what were the different sets available. A web search shows, Ares, Zeus, Hyperion, Ladon (maybe more) Assuming the lesser expensive sets would be prone to a shorter working lifespan, but these failure examples seem to be coming from...

Which Gold Crown Is The Best?

I couldn’t distinguish a 1 from a 2, but I can spot the other models. Played a lot on 1-2, 3 models in pool halls. Never had a chance to play a 4, I own a 5, and tried the 6 floor sample at my local dealer. From a player perspective I’d take any of them, but the flush pocket trim on the 4-6’s...

Can anyone tell me the age of this table? Like what version it is?

My question has been why was version II made for so short?

    Cloudy balls

Looks like mold and mildew from sitting in the box for years in a musty basement. I’d try the Aramith restorer if you already have it.

Photos of tables for felt color decision

That tool is great to see all the different color offerings, but it doesn’t help much when it comes to showing the cloth under various light conditions. I considered the different shades of green and initially thought the standard Simonis Green was took dark when I saw the swatch under...

    Brunswick Certificate of Authenticity

I purchased a GC5 new from my local dealer a year ago, never received a certificate of authenticity or anything else from Brunswick. A CoA would be a nice touch for all new table purchasers.

We're cyclop balls replaced by dynasphere? Any reviews on dynasphere?

Tungstens - like Got my set of Tungstens on Monday and finally got to try them out today. Yep, these are impressive for $60. Like them a lot. First impression compared to my Centennial and Black sets are they seem to have a little less mass and/or density? Slightly lighter maybe? Could...
