Also, always wipe the chalk off your tip/ferrule before putting it into your case with a cloth or napkin or something. You'd be surprised how much that will help with keeping the whole shaft cleaner. Especially if you insert the shaft tip first.

I always run a strong magnet over the area if I'm going to cut it, especially in a forearm. Not a 100% solution as some stainless steels are non-magnetic, but I seem to get lucky the majority of the time. Most of the cheaper cues just use steel screws in that area. Saved me a few saw blades! ;)

Here. Since the OP was looking for 3/8-10 modified, that's what I looked for. I see the Radials only show straight right now. I'm 95% sure he offered the Radials in tapered as well though... could just be out of stock.

According to the their website all they have are tapered at this time. They used to sell both.

OXA holders will normally take between 1/8" and 1/2" tools. 3/8" have worked best for me. Do yourself a favor and pick up some indexable carbide tool holders, I am having great luck with the Accusize 2387-2003 set (found on amazon). Reasonable price and have had no issues. Even though I only...
