Do you see the safety I was talking about? Fanning that ball with some high left on the far right side and then hitting the rail and nuzzling right up against the ball?
I am in a rare minority as far as shots like that. Not saying it was the best solution, but I frequently bypass a runout to play a safety and get ball in hand.
See people with 50 runouts or more, whatever it is. I just play to win, and if that means 3 safeties because I don't feel 100%...

When you had the 2 balls at the bottom of the table where you had to cut one in the right corner and hold the CB, and cut the other in the left corner.
The shot before that where you had length of the table into the top left corner and went 2 rails for shape.
I looked at that and I was like...
Good shooting.
I hate these 2 table views, rather have one table and hear stories about the second one.
But what is even worse than that is when they superimpose another table on the screen so you can watch both tables.
I played some of the best pool in my life with a 18oz bar cue that had a slight ting from a loose screw at the bottom (or maybe that was the other stick.) Either way, playing with a borrowed cue, a house cue, or your favorite cue, it's still the shooter.
Can you work the magic you've worked...
What they really enjoy is you asking them questions while they work. Don't mind the jeers, just keep asking them how this will play, will my break be better, what kind of cloth are you using, is that what you would use on the Accustats tables?
Sure, people can say they are waiting for Color of Money 2, but instead of Efren v. Earl, it's Fedor v. Filler. But we all know the pool event of 2026 is going to be the 1st post after the table is installed.
I had a pretty good idea for a one pocket book that I haven't seen done yet, but like these books, it's niche, and I don't have a name like Steve, Tom, or Tony. So probably far less copies sold.
Since it looks like a pretty plain cue, I would be interested in the hit too. I could never build a cue, so my hat is off to anyone who can.
Best cue I've ever owned was a plain jane that Bill Schick made, nothing fancy, but plays lights out.
