Hi Puma, No not all wood joints are the same. There are different pin sizes and thread sizes to the wooden joints. I think OzoneBilliards.com sells both the male and female parts of a Longoni wood joint protector. I have also seen Adam, and Buffalo wood joint protectors. Hope this helps.
