At USA, probably Shane, at far east Asia, definitely Yang. The score would be something like in USA; SVB 100 - Yang 91 At far east Asıa; Yang 100 - SVB 63. Depends much about the preparation of course. Yang is the best 9'baller in the World IMHO, but already bcos of language problems...

Weeeellll... I'd say the odds for him to win in Chesapeak are still quite a lot of higher than to win in Manila.. If I was a book maker, I'd probably lay him 5-10 times as much In the WPC than I'd lay him in the Opens. In the Opens I'd put him the favourite though..

Hey ApoDra! You should take also year 1999, as it was the first year with Matchroomsport's WPC. In the top 16 there were not many outside Asia. In the last 8 there were Steve Knight from Europe and Mike LeBron from USA. Two players from Japan at last 8, filipinos and taiwanese playing each...

But didn't you just write: "I've read it. IMO Wertheim is great, Basavich is not nearly as interesting as Wertheim would like us to think, and "Bristol Bob" is boring and unlikable. Movie is said to be "in development"; they'd have to embellish the book considerably to make it an entertaining...

These are wise words. It's hard to predict any of those teams to win, but the odds sure are too high, as it's only race to 8-11 and 32 team single elimination format. All of those teams can surprise for example Team Philippines, but will they win the whole tournament, it's another story of...

He is not, but he's been a lot in TV in his home country cos of his extremely good trick shots and extremely good performance skills with microphone.. Not a royal though ;)
