I've had 2 solid maple shafts turned into break shafts. I don't know about LD shafts but I would think any maple shaft could just as easily be a break shaft. I also wouldn't use one that's under 12.5 or so but that's just me.

I've owned many McDermotts and I just got a new McDermott butt over the weekend. When I roll it by itself it rolls perfectly straight but when I put any of the shafts on it it has a nice little bow when rolling it. The i3 doesn't bow much and an older maple shaft doesn't show much light at all...

No problem. I always thought the same thing and always stuck with soft tips because it's what I was told. Then I started reading Dr. Dave's stuff and I found out a lot of what I thought was right wasn't lol.

I'm aggressive so I would have probably tried the same thing although I know I shouldn't. Unless the 6 was a little higher how would you hit the 6 first and still make the 2? Am I not seeing something right?

People tend to forget that he won the World Masters. That being said I'll agree he is not hands down best in the world but he can sure stick with them and is the best shot we have in America today. Hell, we normally only have 2-3 that leave the country.

It's all background noise to me. I get more pissy during football season because people jump up and yell and I've been knocked into while I'm down on a shot on more than 1 occasion.
