Of course it does! I think the main complaint here is the capping of the tournaments, not the handicapping. If the cry babies are allowed to play, maybe they'll stop crying (at least about not being able to enter).

I watched maybe 15 minutes before I remembered why I don't listen to him. He's probably the biggest idiot I've ever heard. I've been around him in real life too, he's just as bad. He thinks he got barred from all of these pool rooms because he plays so good, but it's because he won't shut up...

The TV table has the match clock and shot clock. All other tables they say they have an "unofficial 30-second shot clock". Dozers has about 20 bar tables, maybe they'll bring in a few more for the tournament!

Agreed. The stop here in AZ is going to be different than the previous ones. I only skimmed through the format before registering, but it looks like all players are guaranteed at least four matches. Assuming a full field of 128, they'd split into 32 groups of four players, and play everyone...

They announced their next tour stop will be at one of my favorite local pool halls! Dozer's in Mesa, AZ. If any of you are fans of fast-paced bar table 8-ball and you HAVEN'T been watching this series, I highly recommend checking it out.

To answer your question, probably not. But I thought a rating increase didn't necessarily mean you are playing better, but that you are winning more. If they are playing more dead money in tournaments and beating their brains in, then their ratings would go up. I'm not a mathematician, and...

Kinda depends on what he needs wok on, no? I played a ton of straight pool back in the day and I found it to help almost every part of my game. You don't, or rather you shouldn't, get a lot of work on long draw and follow shots practicing straight pool. They come up often in rotation games...

I'm out there all the time. Been playing a lot more lately. Right now, there are loads of people in your fargo range that play $20 sets and up to $1000's. So many high dollar tournaments also where there is a ton of money to be made. They just had the 626 and under $2,000 buy in 10-ball...

Come out of retirement and bust all these guys in Phoenix! Way easier action than all of the guys you mentioned!
