    Yeah you're right! Good catch... My dad definitely never had it refinished or any work done to it. It was said when he bought it, that it was on the road with a famous player "undisclosed name" for many, many years. So its possible it was refinished before he bought it. I wonder what the story...

    Hey, really appreciate the information! Just want to be clear, that no matter the material/build date, the fact that flood the market all his new cues around 200-500, that means basically ALL his cues are worth that now? No biggy, just want to make sure. Thanks again!

    Wow, you're right. Thats sad indeed tho, my father paid $1900 about 10 years ago. Back in the day, it was worth that type of money b/c of the inlays, materials etc. Not sure how popular snakewood is, but this cue has a lot of it. Anways, thanks for the heads up. PM sent.
