Predator SP2 Problem - Any Fixes?

What began as what appeared to be a small blister in the finish started to peel away. There is a blister on the opposite side that will probably begin to do the same. No idea what caused this.

Pro-Am black PRC fingerprint solution (for me)

After a few hours of my grandchildren playing on my Pro-Am yesterday they left the table covered with fingerprints. Instead of going to the beeswax or my previous solutions I simply sprayed a microfiber cloth with Pledge Clean it and wiped down the surface. Looked good as new. Sometimes simple...

    Teaching my Grandchildren

My two granddaughters, ages 9 & 10, were not at all interested in my pool table. But yesterday I introduced them to some new things I thought might interest them in the game and it looks to be working. They spent hours playing yesterday and want to come over after school today to play again...

Olhausen Rattle Fixed - Thanks RKC & Mark Estes

The pocket rattle was driving me crazy. Most anything along the rail above a very moderate speed would rattle in the pocket and stay out. I spoke to RKC about the problem and he offered a solution. Glen (RKC) said 95% of the problem would be solved if the soft Olhausen 1/8″ facings are replaced...

Table Mechanic Las Vegas - Improve Olhausen Pockets

I'd like to find a table mechanic in the Las Vegas area who, if possible, can improve the pockets on my Olhausen 8' home table. I'd like the pockets to be opened to the size of the Diamond League Cut pockets (4.75"). I'd also like to alleviate some of the pocket rattle. My grandchildren are...

Ralph Greenleaf - One of the greatest to play the game

Growing up my grandfather (Born in the 1890's) often spoke of seeing Ralph Greenleaf play in New York City. He thought he was greater than Mosconi and all the other greats. I didn't know the incredible, and sad, story of Greenleaf until I read the book cited below. It is well written and flows...

New Table Arriving next week ... But

It isn't a Diamond or Brunswick GC. It's an Olhausen Hampton 8'x4' (furniture table with Simonis Tournament Blue cloth). It was a compromise, for appearance sake, with my wife of almost 50-years. That's how one stays married. Mostly for use by my grandkids but it will also give me something to...
