I got this cue years ago used here on AZB, it has some chips at the bottom near the bumper.
The original shaft's joint collar finish looks like it was shuttered (still does) but it plays great. I got at the time a Predator 314-2 custom fitted to it.
I has a blemish in the BEM forearm between the...
WNT:
9 on the spot, break box, winner breaks, no 3 points rule
WPA:
9 on the spot, no box just anywhere behind the string, 3 points rule, alternate breaks.
Which format do you prefer?
Both seem to make the spread more random and tight matches
Tools of the day
Play - McDaniel Mac Attack with InFuze Kielwood shaft, Kamui Tan Clear hard tip (I don't like this tip)
Jump / Break - Players J/B with modified phenolic ferrule and Samsara jump break tip (I do like this tip)
Originaly I got the InFuze for a different butt, but it balances...
I own couple of Rhino CF shafts but I never got to play a full cue from them.
A guy that plays with me in a weekly tournament just got one from the Retro line.
So I’ve asked him to test hit it.
First, the cue looks really nice. Upon close inspection, it’s really hard for the non professional...
Every Thursday, I play in a small local weekly 9ball tournament. Sometimes we get 8 players, sometimes 20.
All skill levels, no handicap, 9ft tables with 4.3 inch pockets.
We play in groups stage and then 2 from each group go into a single elimination round .
I’ve won it once and got second a...
Saw it on facebook, hope it’s real

I’m Ronnie.
And I’ve had the privilege — the absolute privilege — of sharing a table with Efren Reyes.
Now, people throw around words like “genius” and “legend” far too easily in sport. But with Efren? Those words feel small. Almost… insulting. Because...
What's the point of having a shot clock only on the TV table?
This favor the top pros who get more TV table time, and does nothing for the game.
I get that on TV we want to see fast action and make it less boring but conditions should be equal to all during a turnament.
Usually I'm not a big fan of butterfly cues but this one loooks really nice if it didn't have the big cat logo in the middle of it.

Sitting behind Pagulayan on the right of the frame with the cool hat and a cue in his hand, ready to jump into the action...
Looks like someone with many stories to tell.
Back in the day, the best glove was Sir Joseph, I alway had one in my case just if conditions required one and except for a short period of time that I used a glove to see if it's better, I hardly used it.
These days with CF shafts, a glove is a must to have. I like the new type of gloves with...
This is my first custom cue, I got it around 2002. It was my main player for a while but at some point it felt too fancy for the local pool hall and a Schon took its place.
Took it out tonight to shoot at league, gave it a bit of a contemporary look with the CF shaft :geek:
Still shoots great...
Only god knows the differences between this one and the last one (except for the fixed joint) but this is cheaper at $400

FAREWELL CHANG JUNG LIN 💔
Chinese Taipei player Chang Jung Lin has just passed away at the age of 40 due to a stroke while resting in his hotel room.
Just this morning, July 14, Chang Jung Lin was still playing no and won 2-0 against Tommy to enter the Last 32...
I dug out my cues today to take pictures of my Dufferin cues for another thread, while at it, I've decided it's time to update the family photos
