Just wondering if anyone has any insight on these cues. Quality? Playability? Hornbeam as a shaft material versus traditional maple? I really like their designs and seem quite reasonable but haven't heard anything about them. Any input is appreciated.

Bought both cues new in the 90s. Both are players but very well cared for and in excellent condition. The SE2 has a linen wrap (no lacquer) and a 31 inch shaft. The shaft does not roll out perfect but is very close. No affect on performance. The butt rolls out perfect. $800 The D 17 has a...
