    OB-1 vs 314-2

I think that I am going to go with the OB-1. Now what should I get for the tip? I know that poolcuemaster suggested that I go with the Med Tallisman, is that going to be a noticeable change from the Sniper that I use already on the Viking shaft? Because isn't a Sniper tip a Hard tip?

    OB-1 vs 314-2

Yes, I have always used a open bridge, I just never really felt comfortable shooting with a closed bridge. Is there that much of a difference?

    OB-1 vs 314-2

I thought that I had seen a thread about this before but I searched the forums and couldn't find it. Anyway I have some extra money to spend and was thinking about getting a new shaft for my Viking. I am either going to go with the OB-1 or the 314-2. I have heard mixed reviews for both...

    Battle scars

I know what you mean. With my first cue (a Viking F-86 Stained Black with Blue Pearl Rings) I was very 'protective' of it for the first few months. That was until my buddy and me were in the basement shooting around and I had leaned my cue against the side of the table while I was racking and...

Squirrel Attack (But league is important)

I had a similar situation a while back with a bird in my basement. My buddy came over to shoot some pool one night, I was in the kitchen making a pizza and he came in and said he was going to go downstairs and shoot around for a bit. For some reason he forgot to turn the light on, on the way...

Room Size: How Playable will this table be?

I had a similar situation. I just had a 8' Golden West installed in my house. The room is 25' L x 13' 1" W (it would be 13' 8" W if there wasn't a ledge on the one wall). I had the installers center it on one end of the room and that left me with 4' 7" on each side of the table. It isn't...

    Refinishing a old cue

Hi, I am new to these forums and I am looking for some advice. I had bought this old Viking cue off of ebay last year for I think about $100.00. And I emailed Viking about it and they told me it was a Z75 made from 1977-80, retailed for $75 and today could be worth up to $300 (mint). And...
