Best Break Cues? I need to buy one. Let's see the votes.

I'm using the JFlowers BRKR. Love it. Well balanced and solid breaks with lot's of cue ball control. It's lightweight at 19.5oz with a carbon fiber shaft. I'm not a fan of wraps so I bought the wrapless version at $334USD...

    3x3 cue case....

Are you looking for a soft or hard case? JFlowers has some nice soft cases which are 3x4 or 3x5 which is good if you want to store an extra shaft. They range between $99-$109USD. Their hard cases start at $179 for a 3x6 or 4x8 which might be a bit too large for you. You can check them out...

    WTB: JFlowers break cue

I'm using the JFlowers BRKR. I love it. Offers a lot of control without sacrificing power. I went from an entry level 21.5oz wooden shaft with no taper to the BRKR and it made a huge difference. The cue is very good quality and the weight and carbon fiber shaft makes it feel like my playing...

    Playing sober, can’t do it

The problem is your brain and body is eventually going to physically require it. I noticed that when this occurred, it was too late. It slowly creeps in without realizing it. Even at my worst, when I drank I felt better but all I was doing was feeding my nervous system what it needed. This...

    Playing sober, can’t do it

I hear ya and completely understand. It was always a way out for me. I would show up to a pool hall very nervous sometimes knowing a lot of people are there to watch me play with money on the line. Just knowing that all I had to do was drink would actually help calm me even before I started...

    Playing sober, can’t do it

I started playing pool around 8 years old. Played everyday and became extremely good. Around 17 I started drinking and found the more I drank the better I played. This became the norm and I even made money doing it as I would start off playing nervous and my opponents would think they had the...

Filler back to the carbon shaft

Cynergy is very close to the "wooden shaft" sound and feel.

    Looking for a cue.

Instead of buying used, with your budget you could buy a brand new JFlowers cue. They start at $319USD and come with the choice of Carbon fiber or wood shaft for the same price as well as various customizations like the tip size and weight. You can check them out on their official website...

No dispute that Efren is the GOAT, but who is the 9 ball GOAT?

Earl "the pearl". Who else could've done the million dollar challenge? Running 11 racks in a row with that kind of money on the line is insane.

    Broken pool cue

The ferrule on my Players HXT65 broke after about 6 months of regular play. No break shots and just about 5 hours per week. I really liked the cue when I first started using it but that will be my last players purchase.

    It’s my birthday

I hear ya. Cues are a very personal purchase. If you can't find what you're looking for you could always take a look at McDermott. They can even create custom cues based on your specs. Good luck!

    It’s my birthday

What about a JFlowers cue? They're excellent quality and start at $319USD which is in your budget. What I like about them is you can choose between a Carbon Fiber or wooden LD shaft for the same price, among other customizations. Both my break and main cue are Jflowers and I've been very...

    Wanted: Decent Inexpensive break cue

Are you looking for a wood or carbon fiber shaft? I recently replaced my wooden break cue with a JFlowers BRKR break cue with a Carbon fiber shaft and Phenolic tip. Made a huge difference in my breaks. So, depending on your budget, it might be worth your while to take a look. It's $334USD...
