    Sneaky kinda day

Nice cues. I like full splice sneaky cues. I gravitate to plane jane cues generally.

My first McDermott in over 25yrs.

I like the cue. I like McDermotts overall. I have a couple that are a few years old. I do have one with a G-core shaft and I quite like it.

    Judd Fuller 1994

Hi All, I'm sharing some pictures of a nicer cue in the collection. I bought this one from an ebay auction and think I got a pretty good deal. The seller said he purchased it from the wife of a collector upon his passing. The collector used to play and service multiple pool halls around...

    Full set vintage aramith balls?

Hi All, I wanted to share the vintage billiard balls I've been shooting with. I know it can be a crapshoot, but I think this set came together. Wondering if you guys noticed any tells to confirm it's all original. The original sales receipt is dated 12/22/84 and they cost $74.95 before tax...

Does this joint pin look misaligned?

Hi All, I bought a new custom cue and I like the cue other than the slight wobble I notice in the butt and when put together. I'm debating whether I should return it since I got it at a good price. I think the joint pin may be misaligned. I took a few photos trying to show what I mean.

    Cues without clear coat

I'm finding that I prefer wood cues without clear coat. I love the feel of the natural wood instead of the feel of the clear coat. Call me old fashioned, but I don't like a fiberglass or carbon fiber cue, so it has to be made of wood. OK if it has clear coat and with a leather or linen wrap...

What is a good Valley bar table cue ball that will not get stuck in any Valley bar tables?

For my valley pool table at home, the cheap chinese made cue ball that came with the table would never get stuck. It never got stuck for over 10 years. I recently got two aramith magnetic cue balls from two different vendors online with the green aramith logo. These aramith ones are much...

gaps on side of cue tip Huebler

OK I think I'm starting to see what happened. The tenon is protruding from the ferrule a little bit. I think if I remove the tip, it would confirm that. Then I could use a file or sandpaper to make the tenon flush with the ferrule again.

gaps on side of cue tip Huebler

Hello, I notice a space or gap on the edge of the cue tip where I can see light shine through. Is this a push in style of cue tip or something? Does the tip cut off with a razor and glue a new one on like other cue tips? Also, the black plastic ring is broke off the shaft near the joint. Do...

    New Here? - Introduce Yourself

Hi All, I've been getting back into pool lately after not playing for a few years. I'm from Ohio and I thought I'd share a few pics of my equipment. I have a Valley ZD-7 table from the late 90's era. I bought it used in January 2012 from a vending company. I have started a nice cue...

    Judd Fuller 94 cue blemish

Thanks for the replies all. I agree it's not a crack repair and wanted to get second opinions. The look of it doesn't bother me and I'd only be concerned if there was an issue with the integrity of the wood. I'm going to leave it as is and enjoy the cue. I played a few games with it last...

    Judd Fuller 94 cue blemish

Hi All, I recently acquired this Judd Fuller cue. It's really nice and is dead straight. It does have a couple blemishes on two of the points. Does this look like a crack repair to you or just a blemish of the wood being used?
