    Spiderweb Cues by Bill Webb

Just to let you guys know, I own the cocobolo and maple cue pictured here and I can't say enough good things about Bill's work. His pointwork is very even with his ultra-thin veneers. The cue hits very solid and has great playablity, not to mention the excellent piece of cocobolo the cue has...

    Whats it worth

It looks to me that Ronoh replied to someone who deleted their post and not to the actual first poster. Just an FYI.

A question from a new AZ member...

The best aiming system in the world isn't going to help you if you don't have a consistent, repeatable stroke!

    $10 Moori tips?

The thing that I don't get is the fact that everyone expects cuemakers to make next to nothing on anything they do. Shorty, you said you make around $68K a year. I'm sure you do whatever you do well and get a premium for it. So, why do you begrudge a highly skilled cue maker/repairman from...

More Spiderweb Cues by Bill Webb

While I can appreciate your opinion, I don't see where I've tried to sell anything. I posted pictures of Bill's cues as a favor to him and that is all. When people started asking questions about pricing and availability I answered their questions to the best of my ability. I do not have...

    Is this for real?

What's that shit about he reserves the right to end the auction early if it's not going for as much as he wants? Isn't that expressly against eBay policy?

    Cue Wobble?

I agree with you that a little wobble makes very little difference. However, if I spend $1000+ on a cue then I expect the shafts to be as straight as possible!

    Pros and Sponsors

Lets not forget the Predator 314 and Z!! I never made a ball when putting side on the cueball before getting one!

League: The Diet Coke of Pool?

You know, this is part of my problem. I've heard people on this board say in the past that you have to feed on the little fish to pay the big fish so that you can get better without losing too much cash. My problem is that none of the "small fish" will play me for money because of how good...

    My Celtic Cue.

So, does the forearm have two joints in it or is it essentially sleeved with some other piece of wood as a full length "core"? It's definitely an interesting design and I'm sure it looks better in person than in the pics, as most cues tend to.

League: The Diet Coke of Pool?

I wish I could get some of the people playing in the leagues to realize this. I keep telling them that even though I'm a 7 in APA and TAP that I am not a great player. I try to tell them that, perhaps, I am a B- level player but they don't believe me.

how'd you do at league play this week??

I got really lucky last night. I'm a 7 and was playing a 4 so the race was 5-2. I got to 3 before he won a game, although an earlier game where he almost ran the table after I came up dry on the break he missed the 8 twice! Then I dogged a couple of 8's and he was kind enough to give me...
