    Jet Black EBONY

I feel the same. Brings out the character of the cue. A perfect example of this can be seen on my recent thread New Steve Klapp Cue. Bump it up and give Steve a little exposure.:D

Billy Ray was in Galesburg,IL last night. Bob McGrath lost 4200 to Fargo per Bobby. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Billy shoot as he was just watching a BB game at the pool hall. Fargo shot fantastic, it was quite a pleasure to watch him play the different tables and games. Have a good...

What kind of tip do you play with???

I used triangles for a long time. I switched to the Talisman WB hard. I have it on my break cue and playing cue. Only had to shape when I first installed it, never mushroomed, holds chalk extremely well for a hard tip.

Worst Pool Room/Pool Bar you have ever been in? WHY??

My vote goes to Dave's Goodtime Billiards in Peoria. I don't think any of the 9 footers will play without there being a rolloff somewhere. The barboxes are all new and play like they have thick shag on them. Lot of competition there, though its the only pool hall in Town. City this size and 1...

    Fargo in peoria

Fargo walked away around 5k up on Bobby. They were supposed to have played last night but Fargo a no show. The Hispanic guy matched up with Judex James and JJ lost a couple of sets. They were supposed to play again today. Judex wanted to play Rack your own, but the roadie wouldn't have anything...

    splitting tournament winnings

I am sure it was last October, has been on ESPN several times. First airing was in December 26 or 27/2007. It was an Invitational. Most players think this tournament is a joke, but still paid 50k winner take all. don't like to name names. "Speed Pool".

    splitting tournament winnings

splitting I guess I think, that if you decide to split with somebody and play the match, a lot of pressure is removed from that match. Going home with 50k or nothing seems like a lot more pre match pressure to me:confused: which in turn would affect the play of someone in the match. As for...

    splitting tournament winnings

I was talking to a guy that had recently won a major tournament. Winner take all event. He was telling me they had agreed to split the winnings no matter who won. I personally have a problem with this. I feel it takes something away from the game. I have never split with anyone. If I win, I win...

    Position without thinking

First let me start by saying Hi to everyone. I have been reading posts for quite some time, just recently able to post. I have been playing for several years. I have been doing some self analysis lately. I have noticed when I shoot my best I don't really think about position, I look the...
