I don't think there is any part of the train that is moving in the opposite direction it is travelling. The closest anypart of the wheel would be to moving backwards is when a point on the wheel is at 6 oclock. Then it stops moving down towards the ground and moves up and forward away from it...

It seems that if part of the cueball is moving backwards while moving forward that would mean the the cue ball is spinning faster than it is rolling. Which I thought Byrnes said wasn't possible.

i was looking on ebay just at the ones he was selling with the certificate and all that. It seemed obvious to me that there selling a dozen cues at around $200 each = low quality. Thanks for you input. matt

Does anyone know anything about his cues. I see he has like a million on ebay for real cheap. Are the junk or what? I don't see how a original cue can go for under $200.

anything by robert byrnes is good. It has drills, fundamentals, shotmaking.etc. Google his name you should find some. Also every pool merchandise website has books and dvds for sale. rockwell, cheapcues etc Barnes and nobles or boarders have a small selection as well.

I have seen many of you add a wooden shim to subrails to negate the need for rubber shims. THat is what I want to do when I get the dough. My triple shims play poorly. I have yet to find a mechanic locally that has done it. I am a decent wood worker, think I could fabricate the shims...
