After seeing JohnnyT's birthday thread, I thought it might be fun to see what kind of age bracket we all fall into. I'll be 28 this year (August).

Matt

I'm 56 and have been playing for 103 years at least. There isn't a shot anywhere on the table I haven't missed,,,numerous times.

The best I ever played was just horrible, but, it was so much fun. I just can't remember when it was.

Should I admit it?

The big six-oh is coming up this summer. The good news is that I'm lighter today than I was in high school. The bad is that I've lived an irresponsible life, having no idea I'd ever get this old. But never a dull moment.

I'm celebrating the tenth anniversary of my 20th birthday on 9 June.

Not over the hill just yet but I'm climbing it...

my wife turns 30 on June 3rd. The Beau Rivage is flying us to Biloxi in a private plane where I have an entire section reserved at Todd English's Olives for the occasion.

41, been playing off and on since I was 15.

pool gear is currently off. the majority of my time spent on pool is proly here on azb

I forgot what this thread is about..

Wow, lots of youngsters on this board. Just to date myself, I remember watching Danny DiLiberto play in the late '60's at the old Hippodrome in Buffalo, above the Greyhound bus station. And it was his cousin who taught me how to play the game for $5 a "lesson" - and I quote, "C'mon, get down and look...look at the f'in ball!"

But at 54, I still don't feel like I've crested the hill yet (close, however). It really is a state of mind.

I know I'm not the oldest on here. Johnnyt

I'm pretty sure that Hal Houle is the elder statesman here.

Hal (rumored to be a Civil War Veteran) was in the third grade with Willie Mosconi.

56 here. Had my first go at the BCA Nationals this last time. It was lots of fun. Did not come close to winning, but I did get my entry fee back. Not too bad for my first time. Of course, I was in the seniors tourny. 1499 is way too many to be in the open tourny.

Have any pool players actually made it to the 96+ range? The tried and true pros out there tend to have lived pretty rough lives.

I'm thinking Hal Houle is damn close if not 96+.

Dam, I feel like a kid again!!!

I'm 29 with another 29 years of experience. LOL

When I was standing at the Splash Bar at the Nationals, a pretty young thing happened to ask how old I was.

I answered, "How old are you?"

She said, "30."

I said, "Well, then we're only 14 years apart."

With a confused look on her face, she said, "How do you figure that?"

I said, " If you were 14 years older and I was 14 years older, we'd be the same age."

When you get this old, that's how you have to figure things. LOL
