I just paid $3300 for mine with a matching light in Dallas. It is used, but will play like new when my mechanic is done with it, or at least it better... There was another one new in the area for $33-3500 without a light.

Before I sold one with a stainless joint, I had one of each. From an aesthetics point of view, the collarless shaft looks very odd when on the stainless joint. I didn't notice any difference in playability, but the wood-wood "feels" better in my opinion.
