Any tips to remove this Brunswick bumper?

That seems to be the situation here. The original bumpers do rotate around the “knob.” At least the ones I’ve had my hands on so far. I can’t seem to force one of them off yet though. It would obviously just be quicker to use an HSS parting tool I know but the bumpers have lasted 60 odd years...

Any tips to remove this Brunswick bumper?

Some of these old Brunswick cues have some pretty nice wood. I’m not finding it easy to remove one of these bumpers, they’re pretty hard with age. I wouldn’t mind saving the original bumpers and reusing them if I could. Any tips?

    AZB seniority thread in NPR

Fortunately, I had just that one banning. I concocted some B.S. story though and told the admins that someone had acquired unauthorized access to my AZB account. They bought it! Sounded a lot better than demonic possession. Which had been the real reason.

Any ideas on something that's been bugging me?

Imagine each stroke like a bundle of electromagnetic waves. When the peak from one wave encounters the trough from another, they cancel each other out. The pattern emerges in the distribution of final object ball position. We call the mathematical description of this wavelike distribution of...

Total knee replacement yesterday, no pool for a while

I’ve known two men in my life that had the full knee replacement surgery. Once most of the healing was over, both of them were very pleased with their results. VERY pleased. Careful using that Vicodin. Those opium derivatives are as addictive as you’ve heard. Vicodin withdrawal can be...

How to remove mildew smell from linen wrap on cue??

Nice looking cue Renegade. I second coundnthinkof01s suggestion. Use ozone as a solution to problems similar to this. If you’re a homeowner with a basement, get an ozone maker/generator. Pretty simple to build your own with any high voltage transformer. (like an old neon sign, or similar) My...
