There should be (if not already one that I don't know about) a mailinglist where depending on your location, it will email you when tournaments will be and when. For example, if I live in Toronto - it will monthly remind you when there are tournament in Toronto for the next couple months along...

Usually they riff on random stuff while there's not much going on in a match. Also they're usually pretty funny, crack jokes, and they'll run statistics and sorts. Joe would be great at that.
