That sucks. I have been to events like that. It makes it hard for you to want to go back. There is a monthly tournament in Macon, GA and they make a good home cooked style meal for everyone free of charge. I think it's a great treat for the players and everyone appreciates it.

I hear you, but they had already agreed on 10%. As for Snookers selling cues, they have about 7 in a case ( I think they are Sigel-Varner's ) and there isn't one person who works there that would be capable of answering any questions about them.

You are right-- they have good tables and ok food. But you will pay for it too. After 7, even if you are playing alone it is $9 an hour, and if your hungry for a "Larry Burger", that'll set you back another $10.25.

That's funny... I live in Valdosta and there is never anyone to play here. No one to practice with, no one to gamble with... hell, I rarely go in the pool room anymore because of that. Lotta nits here.... that's all I'll say.:cool:

This whole subject really ticks me off. If you don't like to be around smoke find somewhere besides a bar to hang out! Why don't all the non-smokers go out to the patios-- that way you can have all the damn fresh air you can suck up.
