Another bump for the Holiday......

Those model "J" Palmers were about the finest looking Palmers in my opinion. I am the second owner of a Model 11 from the first catalog from 1965. I wish I had an opportunity to get a model "J". Chris Tate as an absolutely amazing collection for sure.

That is a very realistic assessment by pooltchr. As nice as it would be to have a room that is focused on 'playing pool', it is difficult to do from the business perspective without income from food or liquor. Sore_Aintya has some good points too. In central CT i've seen some great ideas fail...

As mentioned, a razor blade works well if used carefully. I also use a magnifier lamp and holding the single edged blade at an angle, rotate the shaft keeping the edge of the blade level to the tip. Sanding works too but has to be done so the edge of the ferrule does not get rounded. Peter
