You can do whatever you want unless you do it with your cue + cueball... You can hit the 1ball, no ball at all or even pocket the 9ball...

Thats exactly how they will do it. In a phone call with the IPT they confirmed that there will be exactly 100 qualifying tournaments (so in LV will compete about 265 players) and I was also told it will be in round robin format. I don´t know how they will come to 50 remaining players though.

She was also doing great at the qualifier (WO-7) in Lampertheim, Germany a couple of weeks ago: http://www.internationalpooltour.com/ipt_content/event_qualifiers/WO_open_06/Online_coverage/WO7/default.asp I am very happy that she did qualify in Oslo, IMHO she had deserved it already at her...

We also had a thread about Thomas Engert qualifying for Reno with a pic of him (http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=38182). His break cue doesn´t look like it had a leather tip either, but I had a closer look at it: he glued a leather tip to it. Looks funny, but I think, quite a...

When he was playing in the qualifier here, he broke quite soft. He didn´t like the results, on the second day it became better though. His break isn´t his best stroke. If you can beat him, it´s likely because of his break :rolleyes:

I read this as you - and maybe many more - don´t know Joern Kaplan. Imo he is one of the strongest german players atm, especially at 8ball. I saw him playing at several tournaments in my pool hall (including the IPT qualifier) and can´t remember that I ever saw anyone playing 8Ball better... He...

He indeed is from Hungary...

She did play a great tournament though and proved once more that she can compete with the best male players. Let´s hope she makes it to Reno at one of the other qualifiers...

And she did it again :cool: She beat Marco Tschudi from Switzerland 10:7, Marco being runner-up in the European 9-Ball Champs this year...

And she did also beat Klaus Zobrekis 10-7. Some of you will know that this was not much easier. I watched her today for the first time and what can I say? I´m sure she will make it into the IPT pretty soon and probably stay in there for quite a while. The fifth place at the straight pool world...
