Picked up a new discontinued McDermott E-F3 off eBay for a good price.. they are supposed to come with a G-core shaft.. but it doesn't say g-core... are the older ones blank? It has a carbon color between the black joint sleeve and shaft... any idea?
Picture attached

plus i think...
i have no idea.. its just what i saw it was called when i looked it up on Google
getting my Predator 314 rejointed for it for $25 too from a local cuemaker
my room.. got the table from a buddy for free because he was moving and couldnt take it.. i'd like to sell it and downsize someday .. i need a cue rack.. got a couple house cues and couple playing cues
well, after doing a bit of googling... i found this
http://www.obcues.com/pages/Cuemakers.html
first one listed, Terry Gaiser.. i've played against him in BCA a couple times, nice guy.. maybe i should contact him since he's local
thanks for the advise...its fine if i miss shots at first, its the end of the session(bca) next week so i have a couple months off to practice with it at home before we start playing again.. if there is a chance it will better my game, i'm going to try it
ok, cool.. i suppose i should talk to the guy at the billiard shop, he seems more knowledgeable anyways . i sent and email to Predator just to be safe, waiting to see what they say
any idea of what something like this would cost?
after a quick google search, thats what it looks like to me... now for my main question.. can it be rejointed without ruining the structural integrity of the shaft? i have a 3/8 x 10 joint
