    Lighting for 9' table in home basement?

    I bought two Metalux 2x4 LED light panels, model RT24FP, and two egg crate light diffusers from Lowes for drop ceiling lighting, Then I built the attached Pool Light sketchup model from 4 1x3x8 and 4 each 1x2x8. Put it together with pocket screws and lags. Hung it from the ceiling using...

    Paying pool tournaments

    InGenPool can handle up to 128 players and 16 or 32 tables, can't remember which. It can be used over time to handicap races and keeps players in a database for the next tournament.

    Moving a World of Leisure Winner's Choice table

    Tomorrow I may be buying this table and then have to transport it 60 miles from a home to my Florida Room. This has a slate bed and is a 7' Table. Is it easiest to disassemble or better to remove the legs and dolly it to a truck or trailer? I have zero experience with this brand of table but...

    Three-cushion in Pensacola, FL?

    The only 3 Cushion table I know of in a hall is at New York Billiards 2517 W Cervantes St, Pensacola, FL 32505. Not even sure if they are still open. The other two halls are Legends on New Warrington Road and 9 Mile Billiards on Mobile Highway.

    >>> The McDermott.....the C21 <<<

    Cool, thanks, I have an M-61B also, that has a chip out of the poly on the butt and some glazing there as well. Might have them mate that up as well with an I2 while doing the repair.

    >>> The McDermott.....the C21 <<<

    I picked up a pretty McD D7 off craigslist ($60) last week, wouldn't mind having an I2 shaft with a matching ring on it. When they added the I2 to your D16 did they match the ring? Here's some pics:

    Which safe to play

    I knew I was screwed when I ran the first seven and missed the 8. :) From then on out it was him making a couple balls then playing cat & mouse with me. I pocketed his 9 ball, he made a really decent cross-corner shot on the 11, and he finished out the game. I like your idea of bringing the...

    Which safe to play

    Sorry, Shockwave doesn't work too well under a wrapper in linux. Anyway. my opponent just missed the 9, in an 8 ball game and left me this shot on the 8. Both the 11 and 8 are froze to the rail. Do I pocket the 9 or do I push the 11 into the 8 ,both options giving my opponent ball in hand.

    I've only been involved with the forums here for a short time, but didn't people know this guy was a crook at the beginning? "how readily we are led, how easy it is to fool the public when people are lonely and starved for something to believe in" -- Carl Sagan -- Don't get me wrong, I think...

    What is your match greeting?

    I shoot Sunday BCA at Rack & Cue, Monday Mixed Doubles for the Moose Lodge, Wednesday Mixed Handicap for Red Baron, and Thursday Men's money league for Rocky's. I normally shoot in the Legion Post 340 tournament on Fridays and try to catch Tiny's on Saturday. If I finish leagues early enough...

    What is your match greeting?

    At league and tournament matches, a lot of people shake hands and say "Good Luck". I always say "Shoot well". What say you?

    SITUATION: Do or Duck?

    I agree with most, the safe is a higher percentage shot than shooting off the rail. If I am shooting well and I think he can leave me in a worse position, I'll take the run, though.

    Monday night APA 8-ball fiasco

    Spirit of the law or letter of the law? He did say that it would have scratched, so I would have called the foul. However, the player and captain continued the match without raising the question.

    Monday night APA 8-ball fiasco

    Would the cue have scratched? That is the only way it would be a game-losing situation. The fair thing to do would be to give her ball-in-hand, which she deserved unless he prevented the cue from falling in a pocket on an 8-ball shot.
