A rattle snake won't have a big enough girth to wrap a cue with, too much belly, the only option would be to use two backs which makes for two seams and a lot more work, better to find a different breed of snake

I agree completely, personally I think it's hideous but I'm more interested in how the cue plays considering their softer ferrule.
