It's over, 5-1.

The Mosconi is now tied up at two matches apiece.

Match 5 will determine who sleeps on the lead.

are the refs instructed to rack poorly? I'm seeing lots of square hits from the side rail on the break, and no corner balls being made.

Didn't like that outcome, but I respect the fact Kazakis kept the high-five going when everyone wanted to first bump

The DAZN stream on a Mac using the Safari browser has been extremely poor. Switched to the Google Chrome browser and it’s working great now.

Bergman and Shaw are underway. Huge match, as the winner will give his team the overnight lead.

In rack one, Bergman nearly survives a tough kick, but ends up scratching and Shaw clears for 1-0.

Europe must push out in Rack 2, and Shaw pushes into a safe, misplayed by Bergman, leaving a clear shot at the one. Shaw catches a roll on the bank of the two ball, fluking in the three on the miss and this leads to a 2-0 lead for Shaw.

Solid shooting by Bergman in Rack 3, keyed by a bank shot on the five, but he misses the six, fluking a safety, a roll he surely had coming after what happened in rack 2. Shaw’s return safety is near perfect, and Justin plays a good containment kick to keep the safety battle alive. Shaw leaves Justin long and tough on the six, but Justin cuts it in beautifully, only to hook himself on the seven. Justin's jump sells out and Shaw goes up 3-0. A truly freaky rack with good and bad luck both ways.

Matches 3, 4 and 5 Americans have missed every table shot, almost every leave and also gotten the unlucky breaks.

Has not been a good look.

Shaw must push out in rack 4 and Justin gambles on a long, tough one ball bridging off the back rail. His miss gives Shaw a good look at a runout, but Jayson has to work hard for it. He is up to the task, reaching the hill, 4-0.

Bergman breaks wet in rack 5 and has a good layout, successfully converted to pull within 4-1.
