Mosconi Cup 2019 Day 1 (25 Nov) and Lineup

Did I just see Filler wins 5-0
Filler is the Hulk for team Europe. Can’t be defeated in this format. Thankfully he can’t play any more singles until later.
Also, it was wise to have Billy to sacrifice early.

Billy played like an amateur in that particular set...... scratched breaks, missed easy shot and then a table shot miss and a horrible safety.

He'll be back....

Filler was beatable in that set.... just needed somebody playing the game right in that set. Billy made a nasty mistake in every game he went to the table.... bad mistakes.

Tired of hearing Filler is the world number we get the kid is an unbelievable talent for sure.

Really hope Bergman beats Shaw twice. Once in this doubles and then in singles.

The stream is suddenly a disaster. I've barely seen any of the play in the last few racks, but it seems Filler is the only one doing the shooting.

Filler playing with great joy, the kind of joy we've seen from Alex and Efren over the years. This can only be good for our sport. I know JAM is a Filler fan, and I'm starting to fully appreciate why.

Billy barely made a ball in the entire match, in an unusually forgettable effort that resulted in a 5-0 loss.

Nonetheless, Team USA still leads by two matches to one.

Facebook is blowing up with messages about failing DAZN as well.

Meanwhile, most of you missed a F'ed-up safety by Kazakis, lining up the 3 ball with the 9 to the corner to let Skyler in for the easy kill.

So who will be Europe’s weak link this week: Kazakis or Feijen?

Match 4 ready to go. Bergman/Woodward vs Shaw/Kazakis. Tough not to spend a moment thinking about the controversy that occurred in the Shaw vs Kazakis match at the International. but the European pairing reminds us that these are two good friends with mutual respect.

After splitting the first two racks, Bergman comes with a fine kick in rack 3 but still leaves Shaw a shot, and he and Kazakis don't waste the opportunity, clearing the table for a 2-1 lead. Alex left Shaw too straight on the 8, but Shaw drew to the shot side of the nine and Alex made a very missable nine ball.

The stream continues to misbehave.

Yeah that's a good one... come crunch time, I expect Niels to be up for it even though I feel he has not reached his rock-solid form from before his elbow injury. As far as Kazakis goes... I really don't know what to expect from him.

Neils ain’t gonna be a weak link. His record is the best out there.

So far I have been wrong about everything today. Just jinxed Neils-sorry man!

Lol

i'm not as bothered about the aramith black as i thought i would be. and my non pool playing co-spectator has already caught up with the order so that's a good sign. i am still bothered though, just not as much

This 4th match is slipping through USA's fingers. After the first 2 matches, momentum has left USA it seems but it also doesn't seem it has settled on the European side yet, either.
