The highest end (most expensive) Meucci cue ever made? - 07-08-2016, 11:23 AM

I wonder if this might be the highest end (most expensive) Meucci cue that was ever made (by Meucci).

http://www.ebay.com/itm/POOL-CUE-/29...QAAOSwzJ5Xah2Q

I think it looks really nice, and very unique.

Yeah, Rempe's ivory Crown Jewel was probably 4-times the price of that Ebay cue.

The Crown Jewels was valued at 10k in the 80's,sold for 17k in 1989 and sold again for 85k less than 10 feet away from where Rempe sold it AND in plain view of Rempe.

I was at a MPBA tournament in Memphis when this happened and saw the whole thing. Rempe had a look on his face like he shit himself . Tommy D.

Yup.

But you have to admit it would be nice to have a cue that appreciates in value so much, even if for no other reason than to sell it and buy something better.

I wouldn't buy a cue like this...but I sure as heck would love to have one to sell!

This cue is butt ugly, IMO. It looks like a gold necklace was just covered over in epoxy.

Edit, pic stolen from ad added.

I wonder what that cue is worth today? I'm guessing 10K again.

Maybe it is only worth $610 now.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/meucci-cue-c...-/251675512809

I am kidding. Can anyone post a pic or a link to a picture of Rempe's personal crown jewel cue? Thanks

Here is an ivory Crown Jewel from a friend of mine.
He recently posted on the historic cue thread, probably just like Rempe's
