Carlo did not run a 6-pack. Pulpul won Game 13. He then broke dry. Biado ran out that game and then broke and ran the last 3 (except for the no-call on the last 10-ball).

They may be friends but that Pupul jumping up and down is unsporting conduct. Rubbing salt into Biado
I think Biado let out a yelp before he shot the 10 which distracted him from calling the 10
That is why wise men always say only celebrate when the balls are potted
I think that old man Efren has better chance of beating Pupul than Biado
Go go Efren

That has to be one of the craziest things I have ever seen. Unbelievable. Pulpul's reaction was about as unsportsmanlike as you can get. They might have been friends before, but who needs friends that act like that? This must have been the running theme for this particular tournament, since it happened to Shane also.

Poor show from the opponent, but after the SvB incident, they could not exactly let it slide. Bullshit rule though, I am a firm believer that only non-obvious shots should have to be called.

Okay, that is complete BS. Pool players have to work right now to stamp out this crap. The winning player should have just conceded the game, or fouled on purpose if the ref insisted that the preceding player didn't call the shot. I mean what a miscarriage of justice. It really is pathetic and makes me think that there is no honour in this game. Who would want to win a game like that? As for jumping around celebrating because of that bullshit call, well I have no words. That behaviour wouldn't fly in my neck of the woods, but we care about honesty, integrity and fair play. SVB was also right to forfeit in protest.

This rule got as f-ed up as the rule some tournaments used to prevent soft breaks to get 3 balls past the head string. It just causes other issues in itself.

Everyone in the place knows where 99.9% of the shots are going, even if they play a bank.

These are not bar players that think a called shot is saying exactly what the cueball touches on way to the pocket. 7 in the corner, off the rail 2 inches up from the pocket then it will hit both points once, then the facing on the right then will fall in at 6 mph.

Who wants to bet that the next time they have this tournament, this rule will not be in effect?

A good tournament turned into a joke because of Simon Says rules!! What a travesty!!

Exactly what were the positives of this rule? There must be some.

I bet that in the final 32 there was not a single instance of one of these killers lucking in a 10 so why have call shot at all? But like this?? Are you kidding?

I know that carlos did not call the 10 that put him on the hill.

Yes, Carlo pointed to the intended pocket as he rounded the far end of the table on his way to the CB after pocketing the 9-ball.

When are these players going to learn the rules? Regardless of the behavior of Pulpul there are rules to the game. Just like any other sport. You follow the rules.

Biado committed a foul and therefore did not win the game.

As far as who would want to win a game like that. Oh, maybe the player who throws a hail mary pass at the end of a game, full court shot at the end of the basketball game. They will all take the win.

.......omg

were you ever driving somewhere when you found yourself making a wrong turn because "that is the way you usually go" but today you are going somewhere else? These guys have not been overtly calling the moneyball all their lives and then insert this rule that ACCOMPLISHES NOTHING (How many 10 Balls were lucked in by these pros this whole tournament ?)
Whoever decided on this rule either has no experience in pool or is a complete moron!
