Here's a nice Jerry Rauenzahn cue. A nice players cue I took in on trade. It had no I.D. markings on it, so I sent it to Jerry and had him stamp his -R- logo on the buttcap. He said the cue is approximately 2 years old.

Here's the specs:

Four ebony points into birdseye w/3 veneers of maple, mahogany & light blue
Ebony butt with four ivory notched diamonds
Flat-faced phenolic joint with a 3/8-11 brass pin
Smooth leather wrap
Butt weighs 14.4oz / 28.75"
Shaft #1 weighs 4.0oz / 13.0mm / 29" with an ivory ferrule & moori tip
Shaft #2 weighs 3.7oz / 12.90mm / 29" with a sniper tip. This shaft is a Predator 314-2 with matching ringwork

I Had This Cue At One Time. Very Nice Solid Feel.

Glad You Had The Olgo Added. I Had No Doubt Who Made It, But I Got Some Crap When Selling It Because It Had No Logo.

Zeek - You may want to re-measure the diameter of the 314-2... as Predator lists a brand new one at 12.75 mm.

Or perhaps you are measuring up the taper a little ways.

SHAFT WAS OVER 12.75 WHEN IT WAS HERE.

CAN'T SAY WHAT IT IS NOW, BUT I REMEMBER IT BEING LARGER THAN NORMAL.

That's what I had heard as well, but I'm pretty confident that I measured correctly, and my calipers show 12.9mm.

Beautiful Jerry -R- cue
His shaft taper is perfect for me.

My everyday player is a Jensen cue with a shaft Jerry made
and I never thought I would mix builders like that.
I had him make a shaft with an ivory ferrule just to have an extra shaft, but it plays so good I changed over to it.
