Let me explain
In my youth I was a beeter golfer than pool player
I gambled higher on golf
At one time there was action on the putting green my
friends pooled their money to bet on me
as they said,you never miss for the money
What we found out was that short putss made me nerveous
and constant repitition left me no time to catch my breath
and settle down
Short putts for serious money actually scared me, friends
said i was cool under pressure,but I was scared on every 4
footer,every 3 footer
But the next hole allowed me to relax hitting the driver,walking,
etc
Funny but being scared actually caused me to play better
I used to tell myself the pressure is on now play good
it helped me
9 ball is like the ptting green,too much constant pressure
it makes me dog

Those photoshop jobs were amazing.
We just resumed the game we were playing when the Coronavirus broke out. I went to ask my opponent if it was my turn and he replied “Don’t rush me, I’m still thinking.”

I suggest you stay with your coin operated table and the BCA leagues. One pocked would test skill you obviously don’t have.
The Chef is just kidding. I made the same mistake and was initially offended as well, but since I haven’t seen the Chef around in awhile I owe him one and will help explain. He’s actually a one pocket player. That’s not to say he doesn’t own a coin table and play in a league too, I have no idea. But he does play one hole and has a sense of humor. So let’s hear your best “One pocket is so slow” line.
When this thread started I had never played 1 pocket but since I have visited a number of times to get a few laughs I have played some 1 pocket and discovered I enjoyed it. Now if only I could get somewhat good it, thats another story.
