Here are only a couple of pictures from this event. As I had posted before, I am going to try to take pictures at each event and post them for you all. This time, I forgot to bring my memory card and my camera could only hold 15 or so without it. So here you are...

Remember, I am no pro with a camera. Some are going to be too bright, or maybe a bit blurry. I am still working with it!

More pictures....

The first picture in the Chinese girl, Pan.

The second is a closeup of our favorite girl, Sarah, and her braided hair for the event.

The third is Sarah Ellerby, who lost to Ellen Van Buren on the hill.

Fourth is Sarah Rousey again in action.

Fifth is Ga Young losing to Debbie Schodt. You can just see Gina Kim and Miss Rhee in the backround.

And some more...

1st - Ga Young again. You can see Morgan Steinman at her first WPBA event. She won that match against Miss Rhee.

2nd - Debbie S in the match with Ga Young. Caroline Pao is playing her friend and roommate in the backround, Gina Kim. Caroline won that match.

3rd - Susan Mello from Arizona and Cathy Metzinger from Canada learn to play Carrom.

4th - Sarah Rousey learns same game also.

Thanks a bunch for the pictures! I'm a friend of Debbie's and am really happy for her that she's playing so well and making an impact. First, Jeannie Seaver, now Debbie...go, central Florida gals! Oh, and go AZ gals, too!

girlwon1,
Many thanks for the great pics. It's sort of like having Tiger Woods taking pictures inside the ropes and then posting them. We appreciate you taking the time to share.

Congratulations on an excellent showing; good luck this year "on tour." I hope you will be playing in Peoria (pun intended); many of us here in the Great Corn Forest would like to see you compete.

did no one get any pics of the winner?!?!?! how shameful

Hey, you friggin ingrate :D

All kiddin aside, I don't think Tina knew who would win; she probably didn't stay til the end. For that matter, the title is "a few pics from..", not "a documentary from...".

You know it's funny, I thought about you, too. I gotta get one for the KC Fan! I didnt get a chance to take a lot, that is why you see many of one player at their particular match. Each time I saw Karen play she played on the far tables, and not by the stands per se. I didnt stay for the finals. :(

Sorry!

Thanks for the pics. It didn't look like a very good turnout for spectators. Hopefully, it was just the time of day. I try to catch the ladies in action in Peoria each year and the turn out for spectators there is usually pretty good.

Of course you can, Michelle. I would be honored. As far as the spectators go, a lot of town comes out for this tournament. It is really neat that the whole town knows there is a tournament going on, and they come out with their children to watch.
