The fourteenth annual International Cue Collector Show (ICCS) will be held this year in Las Vegas, NV, at the beautiful Red Rock Casino and Spa Hotel. The Show has been held at some of the United States` most prestigious locations, and the tradition continues this year at the Las Vegas Red Rock.

PUBLIC INVITED
The event is open to the public on Saturday, August 26, from 1:00-5:00PM. There is a modest charge for entry.

CUES FOR SALE/COLLECTIONS ON DISPLAY
The ICCS provides a venue for many of the top cue collectors in the world to display some of their most attractive, interesting, and historic cues, and to view and have an opportunity to purchase some of the best new work by selected top cuemakers from around the world. All cues for sale by the cuemakers are ivory-free. Selected top casemakers have also exhibited their work for sale in the past.

2017 SPECIAL COLLECTION: THE BOX CUES SPECIAL COLLECTION
One of the highlights of each year`s show is the Special Collection, a group of cues optionally made by participating cuemakers all following a specific theme. This year the set of cues will be The Box Cues Special Collection. These cues are all ivory-free also The cues will be sold individually in a special auction that ends during the public session on Saturday to the highest bidders in attendance.

The event is held in a different location each year, and brings cuemakers and casemakers, collectors and attendees from all over the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. For additional information about the show, contact Will Prout at prout5809@aol.com.

Will "the" Box cue be there?

PRED,
Yes it will, if I am thinking what you are thinking.
I plan to bring a "big" ebony Gus Szamboti box cue.
And I will likely bring the first box cue ever made, done by Ginacue (Ernie Gutierrez) in
1969 for Eddie Kelly.
In addition, my Searing box cue, etc......there will be plenty of rare box cues at the show.....

Can attendees bring personal cues in?

To heighten security of the cues for sale by cuemakers and on exhibit by collectors, no cues/cases are permitted into or out of the exhibition hall during the show. This measure has been in place throughout all the years of the show, initially at the behest of the cuemakers and exhibitors, and has worked well.

I just talked to Josh, and he will be one of the cuemakers there.

Is there a list of the others?

Will be my first ICCS really looking forward to it.

The final list of exhibitors is just being finalized, and will be made available shortly. I look forward to meeting you at the show.
The cuemakers will have some amazing new cues for sale, and the collectors will have some stellar rare and historically significant cues on display (not for sale).

I really enjoyed the two ICCS shows I have attended in Atlanta and St Louis. I won't be able to make this one but wish you well.

CH,
Thanks for the note. I enjoyed our conversations at the shows, and regret you will not be able to make the show this year.
It is going to be a good one.

There will be a number of special treats at this year's ICCS Show.

One interesting display will be The Glenn Collection, which will exhibit 45-50 titlist blank cues made by many of the top cuemakers of the past 50 years, including George B., Gus Sz, and on (and on).....a wonderful exhibit with many of the cues originally belonging to some of the world's top players ever.

This will be the first (and possibly only) time this unique set of cues will be on public display.

I will add some additional special items to this thread later........ come on Saturday if you can!
