Deano needs a hug

Deano calls me yesterday,and I could tell something was wrong, by the sound
of his voice. After much prying I was finally able to get it out of him. Some
unfeeling, uncaring person he was playing called him horrible mean names.
It turns out Deano and this lout were playing marathon straight pools games
to 30pts. Best I could make out,after Deano makes an extremely long run
of 6 balls,his opponent sensing defeat resorts to personal insults, calling
him arrogant, obnoxious and worst. I tried my best to console him. I told him
"pay no attention to him, we all know that is not true". But I worried because
that happened to me many times over the years and I started to question
myself. Have I become what these people called me ? I hope not, I told
my wife about Deans horrible experience and how I had been called
"a short loud mouth smart ass" and how it had haunted me all these years.
Well she says you are a short loud mouth smart ass. It's not my fault I am
a victim and so is Deano. If those ole meanies hadn't talked to me that way
I would have been humble and TALL.

That's better than being a short, loud mouth DUMB ass!

My girlfriend read this post and started crying. In fact, she still is and it's REALLY annoying. She said ( through tears ) she's sending both you and Dean hugs. As many as you need.

I meant worse not worst, but the T and E are close to each other and
I had tears in my eyes thinking about how bad Deano must feel. This
caused me to hit the wrong key.

I am not sure that my high run actually got to 6,but it was close

This was the second time I played 14;1 recently
The game looks so easy and yet when I play ,every shot starts
looking hard

It is good to have friends like Jack,I was afraid he would want to borrow the cue
I made that high run with

I can't remember playing straight pool, I never thought it was a gambling game

Not only that,it is hard to keep score and use the side pockets

Had it not been for that high run I might have lost some money
