For today's players, Mike Dechaine's softer, more controlled break reminds me of Wade Crane's break.

Freddie <~~~ isn't like Wade Crane

Hey Freddie, is this Elin fellow that passed away the same dude that I've seen in some videos posted where he jumps balls out of a rack into the side pocket one-handed? The video was titled "The Hurricane" at Corner Pocket. Just wondered.

I almost got to see Tony Ellin play Jack Hines one time at Michael's in Cincinnati. Hines wanted the 8 and Tony said he'd only play even (9-ball). This was around '91 or '92. They hemmed and hawed and never made the game, which is a shame because it would have been very entertaining to watch.

Correct

Yeah- He was speeding/trying to beat the train to the crossing so he wouldnt have to wait. That's what they said at the time anyway.

You are correct plus it was suppose to have been after a very successful day on the Golf course. It was said that he was very athletic and also a pretty good basketball player.
