I was rolling through the channels and saw that there was WOMENS CURLING
on, WOMENS CURLING. It's bad enough that they put that goofy sport on
during the Olympics, but NOW. Cornholing, and now Womens Curling.
I'm sure it's very difficult, but there are a lot of things difficult like tying and
untying your shoestrings a thousand times while yodeling. But who in the
world would watch it on TV. Are there really more people out there that
would watch Cornholing and Womens Curling than people would watch pool.
Maybe I'll see if there is AZCORNHOLE, or AZWCURLING and check it out.
For sale section may have some good deals on spittoons with handles or
what ever the hell that thing is they slide on the ice, or a custom teflon
low deflection bean bag that will increase my cornholing accuracy by at
least 25%. What in the hell is the matter with these people.

go ahead hurt my feelings, Dean

I admit it, I glanced at the TV as I was leaving to go work on your custom
knife I'm making for you. I can here Pam saying " Can't you stop working
on all of Dean's stuff long enough to eat, you're going to kill yourself , cue
testing, case building, and now knifes , there are only so many hours in the
day". But I just looked at her and smiled and she said "I'm sorry I understand,
you are such a Prince". Well, as usual I will over look your catty remarks
and keep on plugging away on your stuff while pushing other things behind.

dear jackpot

i was only encouraging you to play with the cue
i keep hoping that you will fall in dead punch and
perhaps i could assume the role of stakehorse as long
as i didn't actually have to watch the game

you know the pressure of side betting is so much greater than the
pressure of playing

remember that time i tried to make that 100 foot putt with about 20 feet of break
on the side of that mountain, remember those guys gave me 500 to one

you know what a sucker i am for long odds, sure i missed the putt by 25 feet but

we came back,so get to playing and we can come back once more

enjoy the cues,i don't even play any more what would i do with
a new Guerra cue, thank you for breaking it in

i am expecting a new Drexler,"Wylie Coyote" gambler
this month, but i tend to just look at cues with hundreds of inlays, but
if you want to break it in for me?

i will be pleased to send it to Temple,tx

I refuse to watch or play anything with the word cornhole, maybe I just come from a generation where that word doesn’t = fun.

I think we hit bottom and are still digging. Curling is less entertaining than pick up sticks or Jacks. And corn holing is fancy for fudge packing.

It was the finals of the world championships.

BTW Jennifer Jones has won about $130,000 curling this year. They have TV coverage and sponsors for curling. Not so much for pool

Oh, you asked about a web site and since I suspect you may not be able to find any by yourself here are a couple :

I'm afraid that a pool enthusiasts would have to cross the pond to be in a "billiard anything" friendly environment.

In the US, the powers that be "are a joke". They have no clue how to make pool or billiard in general profitable.

I guess we better get use to watching someone cornhole something or curl something....lol...OMG!!!!!!

Sad but true,

Who sponsors professional women's curling ? If they pay that much
Billy Mayes should have taken it up. I think it would be a lot more fun to
watch if it was Chimpanzee curling. They would be throwing that spittoon
all over the place, pounding each other over head with the brooms and
slipping, sliding all over the ice. I would watch that.

It was the Ford World Women's Curling Championship you tripped across... as in Ford Motor Company ... you may have heard of them. There are also many other sponsors, check out this site for more information : http://www.worldcurling.org/wwcc2018

It does not surprise me that you would enjoy watching chimpanzees throwing spittoons.

PS The men's world curling championship starts this Friday in Las Vegas. Their lead sponsor is 361 Degrees ... see https://www.361usa.com/

I am pretty sure much of curling's TV appeal is watching an attractive woman gracefully floating across ice staring at the puck (?)/rook (?) she has just thrown (?). I know virtually nothing about the sport but admit this can get me to pay attention.

If you are having too much fun one day, you can instantly ruin it by watching the world cup stacking championships, yep, you read it right, cup stacking.
They don't win money and they have to pay their own way to the spot.
We gotta face it , we are dinosaurs and the comet hit and we just haven't keeled over yet.
Our primitive brains still think we are ok.

The times they are a changing

I was channel surfing and landed on a Video Game tournament... this was being held in a big arena, like a rock concert, with huge screens showing the players battling it out, there must have been 15K people there, plus the online viewers. Apparently the top gamers are treated like rock stars and make 6 to 7 figures a year... UNREAL.

Guess I'm a dinosaur... gotta go work on them One Pocket takeouts....

ESPN will air it if you can afford to pay for production costs. However, the production must meet their standards. It can get expensive. A one-hour show in HD can cost upwards of 80k.
